Speed Energy Orange Jeep Grand Cherokee prototype at Moab Saffari this year.

This Jalopnik article shows the concept vehicles Jeep will be showing off around Easter. The first one is very interesting.

Might the "Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II" be a sneak peak at a Jeep/RG factory Dakar entry? It's diesel, 4wd, with some SRT genealogy. Okay, the article describes it as "blood orange" color, but I could defiantly see this with Speed Energy logos!

(Okay, before you all jump down my throat, I'm just stirring the pot here. But it COULD happen, right?)

Hey alan4s, anything can happen in a stirred pot......

I usually get gas when the pot is stirred! I would love to see factory support but not sure with this vehicle...

I don't see Robby messing around with Fiat again.
Since we're dreaming , V8 Supercar's are in Austin on an off SST weekend,I'd enjoy seeing Robby race that event.

Doesn't Chad Reed mess around with those?

@Kevin,are you think'n Casey Stoner in the Dunlop series? (the junior V8 series)
I thought Chad was messing around with shifter carts.

So would I ;-)

I think Marchionne would have to cough up a lot of coin for RG to make the switch. Hummer has become synonymous with Robby Gordon especially with anything related to Dakar. The branding has been established.

That might be the case, but GM isn't selling Hummers anymore. If Robby can get an agreement with a car manufacturer and build a Bad Azz Dakar vehicle, why not?

I think a full tilt Lamborghini Dakar deal would be sweet for the Robster. 4 Wheel drive of course like a pro 4 deal.
