The last two years I have been dissapointed because Robby's merchandise trailer wasn't there. With the new Speed Energy advertising in full effect hopefully it will be there this year. Anybody have any word on this. Im trying to decide if I need to buy it online before I go, or if I should wait and buy it at the track.

Probably not.
You're f***ing kidding? That's probably the biggest stage for NASCAR advertisement and promotions (250,000 fans). What a waste..... Guess autographs, merchandise and everything are out for the 3rd year in a row........
they charge way too much for space rental. The figure is astronomical.
Isn't the fee like $7,500 a day?
Hey TOG. Going to the Bristol spring race and completely understand the cost thing for RGM for the trailer. Do you have any insight on whether he usually has the hauler at Bristol. I want to be fully decked in Speed Energy and have some stuff already but want to save on shipping to Canada if that is an aoption. Thanks
Devil's advocate:

At this time, what energy drink rules NASCAR? Amp. I am not sure how much Pepsi is involved at Daytona but the last time I was there for a full weekend there were a TON of Pepsi promotions (8 - 9 years ago). Pepsi will throw a ton of marketing dollars out at Daytona in promotion of the products and drivers. From a marketing budget perspective I can see why Robby's group may decide that the cost to promote a product when similar products are in an overabundance may not be the best idea out of the gate. Wait until the new Speed Enregy car is out on the track and promoted more product awareness to the masses and THEN bringout the souvenir trailer.

Seriously though, Robby needs to team up with Hooters and have the Hooters girls at the trailer cross selling the Speed Energy product.
Daytona is a Coke track now
There has to be some sort of promotional activites scheduled though? Somewhere to grad some SPEED or meet RG? Why go there and not do anything for this brand new product?
He is promoting his brand on the racetrack. You do realize how expensive it is to run each race ? Some tracks it will be very easy to have all the bells & whistles ( Souvenir hauler, endless promos, etc ) & some it will not. End of the day, $$ allocated to actually running the car in the race trumps everything,as that will clearly give the brand massive exposure.Sometimes you do have to draw the line at what you are willing to pay.
I completely understand how expensive it is. He is in an expensive sport. The cost of promoting any new brand the first few years is going to out run any revenue 10 fold. It doesn't matter who or what you own. The point is that marketing is the most expensive part about starting a successful product or business, but it is the most important thing as well. You can either be McDonald's or you can be Bob's Burger Shack. They should suck it up and bring the hauler, be happy with breaking even, and get a ton of SPEED merchandise around.

I apologize for being disapointed yet again...........
My bad....Unlimited budgets are common ground....Please accept my apology
I was just trying to show the frustration from a fans POV. Also, I was expecting, due to the importance and popularity of this race, there might be exceptions made for reasons bigger than cost. Maybe I'll make it to Charlotte this year and get lucky there......
Hoping for a 500 win either way.......
