A frustrated David Ragan posted on his Twitter account "Pretty crappy deal for our UPS team. Our team has worked hard all year and deserved to have a shot at the win tonight." David was angry after learning from Roush / Yates Racing engine builder Doug Yates that they put an experimental engine in David's car.
Ragan is trying to catch the attention of potential owners and would have loved to challenged for a win, but instead saw his evening and end to his Roush Cup career go up in smoke.
Yesterday, Roush Racing owner Jack Roush fired back with his own assesment of Ragan's career.
"David Ragan was a frustration and a disappointment for all of us," Roush said, "because he was not able to realize the potential that he had, given what his skill is and what the expectations of the sponsor were, and what the performance that was being demonstrated in the car, and what the engineering package was."
