Lol, i guesse "Ignorance is Bliss" Yes, 100% sure. Final Answer. Deal. Robby is not the weakest link there for he wont be going anywhere.
The Baja 1000 is the same weekend as Homestead. If he was going to miss anything, it'd be that.
He needs to start and finish the 1000 to get the champingship
I think technically he just has to start and another driver could finish it for him right?

Just saying...
I don't think he'll take the chance of someone else losing the championship for him...this championship is HUGE to RG and his future plans. RG is slowly transitioning his focus back into dirt/off-road racing...in 5 years Nascar will be just a memory and he'll racing off-road full time.
LOL!!! John Menard keeps the wheels turning at RGM.
maybe he could start the 1000, then go to Homstead take the lead, pour some secret invisvbe oil on the track so the chase guys will all crash out, then go back to baja and win......he is just that bad ass and you know it
I'm hoping the 1000 is Fri/Sat. That's my home track and the season finale. JB is on the car. I've already been wondering about this myself and guessing it will have to get closer before we know the time schedule for Baja. Wasn't much more than a week before Primm when they announced start times for the TTs so we were still holding hope Robby could run them both. I'll be at Homestead either way, cheering on whoever is driving the 7.
Depends on how SCORE arranges the schedule. Sal could have run the TTs earlier and Robby could have run Richmond too. How much media attention will he get if he chooses to conflict them? Not saying he will. Just food for thought.
Yeah a couple times recently he has run Baja Fri/Sat and Run Homestead Sunday. I don't see why it would be any different, unless SCORE completely changes the start times. Don't really see that happening.
With Homestead being JB's last race, I can't see Robby skipping that race or handing the car do DG again. The question I raise is that if he does not get a sponsor for some of these upcoming races (Phoenix and Homestead are to the best of MY knowldege the only sponsored races at this time), will Robby consider a "start and park" to save money for next season since he is pretty much locked into the top 35 for next season. I know that's not what we want to see, but business is business and money is money.
let's hope not.
