Robby Score Points Leader All Season.

From what I gather RG gets 40 points for the finish and another 35 for winning against 25 entries. This should put him at 200 points. I think BJ moved up to 3rd in points with 150... +69 points and Collins is right there in 2nd with BJ at about 154 points after his 6th place got him approx 59pnts...

Adam Householder who was in 3rd sits around 145 points after rolling but finishing.

I don't think Post even raced because he had the flu and Rob Mac got all the points.

If RG races Primm and finishes in the top 3 (approx 50 points) he wraps up the championship before heading to the Baja 1000 with just a finish in baja. Baja is worth 40 points just to start and 70 to finish

I wonder what Toyo and Monster pay for a Score Championship Bonus? A cool million?

The way I see it, assuming 24 trucks started the Baja 500, Robby leads with 229 points (30 points for starting, 40 points for finishing, and 34 points for finishing first). About 50 points back is a log jam of three drivers, BJ Baldwin, Adam Householder, and Brian Collins. My scorecard has Collins in 2nd with 183 points, Householder in 3rd with 181, and BJ in 4th with 179 points.. but it's tough to say as the official results haven't been posted. Another 20 points or so back is another gaggle of drivers: Pierce, Norman, and Steele all with around 160 total points. The Primm race in September awards 20 points for starting and 30 points for finishing. Assuming about the same number of drivers start that day, Rob could theoretically start the race, turn the truck over to another driver about a mile down the road so he could go to Richmond, and still remain in the overall points lead for the SCORE series irregardless of his replacement drivers finish (but it'd be nice if they did finish). That said, the Baja 1000 is the big points day with 40 points for starting and 70 points for finishing, so even if Rob decided to not enter the Primm he could erase the slight deficit by having a good run then.

Yes the most logical scenario is that RG would start and pull into the pits and another drive would jump in and finish for him. RG will get the points for starting.

My 4 guesses for drivers would be Dale Ebberts as Dale helped RG a few years ago at the Baja 1000. Dale did a good job. Or maybe Chuck Hovey as Chuck is really fast and he has driven Brian Collins TT. For this 300 miler Brian would most likely do it all, so this would free up Chuck. And Chuck is running the BITD series in his class 1 car so that should not be a conflict. Maybe Billy Gasper, Billy has worked for Porter (Now out of business) Driven class 1 cars, and also worked on RG's Dakar team (Not this last year as his schedule would not allow it). And my last guess and another great pick would be Jerry Welchel. I dont know if Jerry's schedule would allow it, as Jerry is racing for Chet Huffman who had a relationship with Robby. I think Huffman racing is only doing BITD and short course this year. So maybe if Robby was able to talk to Chet about letting Jerry drive then it could work. Jerry is Robby fast and could win that race for Robby, or tear the truck up like Robby!

Wouldn't it be better for Robby to have some fun and compete for the Primm win rather than leave it to another driver just so he can make it to Richmond in time to start 43rd and finish 34th?

Robby gets all of the owner points for Richmond regardless of who qualifies and starts the race. Owner points are all that matters. Driver points mean shiot because he's in a dog fight for 30-nothing!

When the TT is warmed up RG drives it till it don't drive no more... If he starts at Primm he finishes at Primm... With another win of course...

Travis quals and races the #7 in Sept.

If RG wins Primm you will see the knarliest 101% TT run ever in the Baja 1000... Win or Break! no between. May even go Ironman style again like a TRUE champ.
