Robby qualified 40th at Dover with a lap of 23.734 (151.681 mph). What do you think? Can he get a good finish starting there?

He better get some track positon and fast! Fuel only + adjustments or something like that.
I agree...first caution ..hopefully on lap 15-20 so everyone will come...fuel only..get the TP..yes we will fall back...but the TP gained and then hopefully solidified by another caution about 30-40 laps later where evryone is getting fuel and tires may be the call to pull the bunny out of the top 20 hat
I thought it was funny as heck....lol. How can you not like someone taking pot shots as Mr. Popularity!
I agree. It's good that there's at least one driver voicing what a lot of fans feel.
Im sure alot of drivers feel the same as Kyle. Question is what would Robby be able to do in the 88? A hell of alot better than JR can
LMBIH @ anyone thinking KYLE is the one out of those two that was fed with a silver spoon....
so this time he won't have to fight his way to the back for his strategy...you know that hang back until the end...the one that bites him in the butt so often.
Seems the norm for RG. Then during the race RG slowly make his (their) way forward. I hope it works out well this week and I confident. Work Hard Work Fast !!!
Its kinda of a worry how slow we unloaded and the first practice didn't help the feeling. Car looks tight in the center and really loose off.....But i have been coming to the spring race at dover for almost 20 years....and the 40th starting spot doesnt worry me. any robby fan who has been to this race in the past 6 to 7 years should be used to this type of qualifying for rob. And to be honest the practices here in races past havent been impressive either....but somehow rob moves forward on long runs at dover.....spring 02 12th to 8th...03 38th to 9th...04 24th to 14th all with childress.....05 39th to 29th robby actually led this race for about 10 to 15 laps then had 2 flats and a speeding penalty but the car was decent....06 41st to 36th...car was good in the first 100 laps made it up to 24th before rob drove to deep into turn clipped the apron slid up and slapped the wall knocking the toe out.....07 33rd to 10th...car was really good this day after being completely out to lunch on the first run....and 08 41st to 19th.....car was just ok......but i think just by his stats in the spring race i think its a sign to be fairly optimistic.....get the car where rob can drive it off the corner and he will get a top 20 even if the car is just mediocre....
i wonder if this is a new chassis or a raced one? if it's new, look out if they can wrench some more speed out of it. rob's future is in building fast race cars now. if he can accomplish what he's done on the truck side he'll carve his own future in nascar. unfortunately, it's still a club that he's not in. case n point... third place finish and he gets his car torn down. i see robby's legacy in nascar as a fierce competitor who ran well and represented well. most of all... he builds wicked fast race cars that others will want to own.
