Does anyone know the following question:
Is Robby racing the Glen this year...noticed next sponsored race is BITD?

Lack of sponsorship will probably mean the #7 won't be at the track at the Glen. No need to go & show up to run midpack on a limited budget type deal.
Cup racing is stooopid expensive.
That is too bad. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the end of Robby's NASCAR days. Oh well, SST is getting started for next year, so can't blame him.
Permalink Reply by Bruce Smith on August 3, 2012 at 9:48am I really don't think Robby is finished with NASCAR. But I am pretty sure he is finished with stinking Dodge. I think he was making new plans without them as soon as no help came at Daytona. I said months ago I expect him to switch back to a Chevy, but I'm just guessing.
He has a lot on his plate right now with SPEED and the SST program. He also needs to finish up the BITD series. I hope he runs Dakar, but wouldn't be surprised if he stayed home and worked on SST.
I think he could pass on NASCAR for all of next season and still come back in 2014.

Permalink Reply by Shane on August 5, 2012 at 6:35pm Just a few weeks ago you said he would be at The Glen and Montreal.....
I had a girl tell me...............she .............she ..loved me
Permalink Reply by Chris Koropeski on August 3, 2012 at 10:34am I'd bet a weeks paycheque that he'll be at dakar.
To win a BITD champ. you have to run in all the races.
Permalink Reply by Mike Kenyon on August 4, 2012 at 4:28pm 2012 Points – You MUST Race/Start ALL of the races for a Class Championship but you may have one (1) throw out race!
1537 Robby Gordon (43) Charlotte, NC,
Clyde Stacy (67) Bristol, VA,
Justin Matney (26) Bristol, TN,
Rick Geiser (47) Phoenix, AZ,
Speed Energy, RPM Offroad, Rapoca, Toyo Tires, Dougan's Racing Engines,
Speed Energy, Rancho Transmissions, Geiser Bros.
So, Clyde could start, say the Blue Water or/both Henderson250 and Robby would be in the Championship hunt.
Permalink Reply by J.R. Sands on August 4, 2012 at 11:05pm The way I reed it, is as follows.Driver of record
1. Must enter all of the C/T or All races.*
2. best finish of 5 out of 6 total points.
3. plus mileage points if you don't finish.
4. Plus any double point awards.
* C = Car, T = Truck, All = every class
