Robby Gordon's Car Parts

Does Robby ever sell hoods and fenders and other parts of the car when it is wrecked? I was talking to my dad about it, and we really want a hood or something to hang at our place by IMS. Just wanting to know. Thanks!

I have one of those. I have the fruit of the loom Busch suit. I had Robby sign it a few years ago. I paid $1500.00 for it. I could sell it??????

I have bought parts of fenders on Ebay. Just search: Robby Gordon or used Nascar sheet metal. Although I am not sure if a hood is too big for UPS shipping. Which would force you to pay a pretty penny for freight shipping. I found raceimage.com by doing a google search, "used Nascar sheet metal."

If you can get tickets to a charity auction near a race track (usually on a race weekend), often there will be various pieces of sheet metal offered at these from different drivers. Since Robby is unfortunately not "the most popular" driver, you should be able to pick up some pretty cheap. This is just one way I have acquired many pieces in my sheet metal collection! Finding Robby to sign them later is just part of the fun!

What do NASCAR teams do with used/blown up tires? I been wondering for awhile... hundreds of them are used every week.

They used to sell them at the track for $20 each but that was a while ago. Not sure anymore.

Goodyear/Nascar now requires all tires to be returned after the race. One of the newer conditions associated with limiting testing on non-cup tracks.
