Charlotte, NC (September 17, 2009) – After winning the SCORE Terrible’s Primm 300 in Primm, NV, last weekend, Robby Gordon will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 7 Sylvania Camry at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This track is very memorable to Gordon; he visited Victory Lane for the first time in his Sprint Cup Series career in November 2001 while driving for Richard Childress Racing.

Robby’s Thoughts – “I’m very excited to be returning to the seat of the No. 7 Sylvania Camry this weekend in New Hampshire,” said Gordon. “Both RGM entries performed well last weekend. David Gilliland did a great job racing for our team last weekend in Richmond, finishing 24th. On Sunday, our team was declared the overall and Trophy Truck winner for the Primm 300, advancing our overall championship lead.”

“With this momentum, I can’t think of a better time or place to be representing Sylvania. Additionally, Loudon was the site of my first trip to a NASCAR Victory Lane, and I’m always excited to race there because of that. We not only have Sylvania on the car this weekend, but they are also the title sponsor of the race. I am honored and excited to be representing them this weekend. It would really mean a lot to the Robby Gordon Motorsports team to have a great finish and maybe even drive the No. 7 Sylvania Camry into Victory Lane this weekend.”

Past Loudon Performances – This weekend will mark Gordon’s 20th start at the flat 1-mile oval in Loudon, NH. Throughout his career, Gordon has recorded seven top-20 finishes, and three top-10s at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He has not only completed nearly 98% of the possible laps during his career at NHMS, but has led 27 laps around the circuit.

TV and Radio Times – Qualifying for the Sylvania 300 is set for Friday afternoon, September 18, at 3:00 p.m. EST, and will be broadcast on SPEED. ABC will provide live television coverage for the first race of the Chase beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 20. Radio coverage of Sunday’s 300-lap event can be heard on PRN and Sirius Satellite Radio beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST.
