Just saw on JAYSKI that Reed is uot of his ride at turner motorsports, even though he is third in the standings. It appears to be related to his sponsor - Dollar General - leaving for JGR.

It's a shame that Reed didn't have the relationship with Dollar General that some of these other yahoos have with their sponsors.

JGR would be Hero's if they put Reed in the 18# for the rest of the season. With a possible championship brewing, IMO.
A real reason from Turner:

“This was a car that I felt like, I call [the No. 32] our ‘flagship car,’ and monitoring the radio the last few weeks, I was getting zero feedback – we’d make changes and make changes and make changes and the car wasn’t reacting,” Turner said Saturday prior to Nationwide Series qualifying at Kansas Speedway.

“So I felt like I needed to make sure where my problem was. And that’s what we did. … We were getting feedback [from Sorenson]. It wasn’t positive feedback. The feedback between the crew chief and the driver, we weren’t improving the car. The car was staying the same. You’ve got to start changing somewhere.”

How often is a Driver/Crew Chief communication fixed by firing the driver?
Thanks Dave...
bullcrap, lame...
If your making changes and the car doesn't respond, it's not the driver. It's a fundamental car/parts issue. Some thing like sacked springs (N/W cars run a coil bind set-up,not bump stops) Renton Coil Spring makes Ti springs for this set-up.According to them ,the springs have be re-heat treated/ rated fairly often with that set-up.
TobaccoRoad - I still think there is more to that as well.
Turner is a D-bag. I hope they DNF today and Reed has a good outing. Furthermore, I wish I could win the Mega Millions to financially support Robby until everything starts coming together.

It's a shame that money separates real racers from the rest of the field.
Vickers -Dollar General- Joe Gibbs?
Funny how Kenny W. says Reeds problem started from talking bad about his car all the time...
If that's the case, Kurt Busch should have been out of a ride a long time ago.
Classy Kurt. "I got your number!" No shit. It's on the side of the car.
