Love it....weight box in front....does the the weight actually slide up on the skid? Is this an actual event for RC cars?
Now you just need some big pipes coming out of the hood with big ol' diesel smoke billowing out...
Use to love the truck and tractor pulls back home!

Yeah just like the real thing . This pic is from my rc clubs " Can-Am " pull . While we pull with the RCs a full size pull is going on behind us . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFnQX8_PZAA

We also do a RC version of the TUFF TRUCKS the 1st Robby paint schemed truck is the 1 i posted the 1 pic of this forum and i run that in that class the Mini Trophy will be in that class too this year . We have our event in Aug heres a link to our clubs site it hasnt been updated in awhile but its still got the general info

Listen to the youtube video at the 3:30 mark and you'll hear my tranny go KABLOOEY !!!!!! on my 2nd run ( its that high pitched whine ) i buzzed the teeth off the spur gears inside the gearbox . All fixed now though upgraded it to all metal gears .

New truck driving my dog nuts! http://youtu.be/_x62_xbY3Sk

Mike that is just about a mandatory right of passage of RC if you own a dog lol . My dog used to snap at the tires . Lol Wanna have some real fun tie a bone a string to the bumper and go outside .

That was the plan for today! lol

Hey Guys and Girls I'm working on a few more new details on the RC trophy truck . I'm trying to recreate that scoop thing between the engine and spare tire in the bed area of the real truck . Not sure exactly what it is maybe when I post the pics some of you desert dawgs can tell me what it is . I'll post them as soon as I finish making it . I'm also adding the rivet / bolts along the roof - door line

Well here it is . 1st of all heres a pic of thing I'm talking about .

Now heres the pics of how i made it on the RC it wasnt really hard to do , its made out of an old battery door from an old radio i had laying around . It was mostly just a matter of drilling the hole to mount it and getting everything to line up correctly you can also see the rivet/bolts i was talking about in the 1st pic

@mj you are quite the Imagineer !

Thanks Jeff the smoke stack you see on the puller is actually a big pen shoegooed into place lol . That's why I like the more true scale stuff . You should see some of the stuff they make for the scale trucks . You can get everything from ice chest coolers , shovels , sand ramps , bed boxes , roof racks and even interiors . You can even get an interior set with driver set for your truck . Just think 5 lil Robby's running around lol

MJ that is the scoop/shroud for the radiator.

Cool thanks Nikal kinda thought it was something along those lines . I thought maybe they were shrouds for the cooling fans and it being curved like that blew air onto the engine . You can see the fans in the pic too i rigged them up so that as the air hits them while the truck is moving they actually spin . We got all these other guys and gals addicted to rc when you and TOG gonna hop on the bandwagon lol ?
