50 cars set to qualify for the Nationwide Race
"To prepare for this weekend, we made a pit stop at Irwindale Speedway in California. We are bringing a brand new car to the track this weekend, so we wanted to test it down before we unload on Friday. We had a great test and are really looking forward to this weekend’s race,” commented Gordon. “I really like coming to Phoenix; the racing is always exciting here since it is one of the fastest mile tracks in the world. I think that the No. 7 Jim Beam / Operation Homefront Dodge will have a great weekend.”

from RG.com

brand new car could be intresting!!!
Yup, 2nd ttCOT for RGM. Hopfully the test did go well, and RG just isnt blowing smoke...

If the first ttCOT was an indicator though, this weekend could be good.
Ok, I am totally setting myself up to get ragged on, but what does the "tt" stand for?
tt is Trophy Truck - Robby has hired some off road (trophy truck) guys to start building his cars.
oh ok. Thanks!
On NASCAR home pg. Qualifying is 5:30 e.T. today looks like ESPN2. Let me know if that is not correct. Joan
Why does it say Robby Gordon...

Anyways, decent speed if he has never been in a Nationwide car before.
1hr and 40 min into NNS practice and the 55 is 31st. Average time puts it about the same but 1 sec off the leaders averages. It should make the race.
This Ickler kid looks impressive. He is only 22 and owns his own team? he also fabricates his own TT?

How does Robby know him? Do you think this is a one time deal or Robby might help him out (shop and some finances) in the Nationwide series next year if he performs well?
Ickler now 22nd quick.
