Might be a good guess if that 71 car with Gilliland gets in the show 3 more times and get's into the top 35 might be a new Toyota entry... Just a wild guess
With Geico sponsorship!
Last year this time Rob was talking about making the Chase. He was like 13th or so. The year before that about the same. So maybe whats going on here is, we struggle to stay in the top 35 early, then make our run to the top and make the Chase:-o
Yeah , a top 20 is essential for breathing room this weekend. Rest assured though, there is no one alive who knows this more than Robby himself.
Robby is doing more than enough worrying for all of us!!!!! Let's all stay behind him!!!! He will perservere here!!!! I've got faith in his plan!!!!!! And besides, sooner or later, the "racing Gods" are gonna smile his way!!!
Yeah qualifing was good last week and he made a call that put him back in the pack early... The top guys knew track position was key and it worked for them...

I'll say it for the last time. DO WHAT THE LEADERS DO!
One of the all time best Mantras since the early Nascar.com board days! :)
Yup NOL dayz... haha
something else was wrong besides that he just didn't "do what the leaders did"
Fly,
You are sooooo right on this one. He made things worse by trying to stay out and catch a caution later on. That works so infrequently it's just not a good play. If anything you want to pit before the leaders so that you can run faster laps on fresh tires while the leader is running slower times. He would have finished one lap down if he had done that. It makes a big difference as I am sure you know.

Everytime he does that CRAPCAR calls a debres caution. He needs to just do what the leaders do when they do. They will never put JR, Jiffy or Jimmy down a lap unless cars are on fire on the front stretch.
Hell, Fly you are probably right about that but that is a bunch of sh**. Short pitting has been a good play since the Wood Brothers revolutionized pit stops but you are right. If they don't play fair and want to stick it to someone they sure can. It's a shame. I'll bet Robby would do some things slightly different if he could start all over. It's their ball and their game and there is just not much you can do about it. You need friends everywhere. It sucks but that's how it is. Take it easy, Fly.
