I"d also think they would be insane to not have 2 cars entered at Indy also.
Maybe, maybe not. Robby failed to get the 2nd car in the field for the last race. There will be at least the same amount of cars entered at Indy, probably more. To bring a 2nd car and a bare bones crew, then pay NASCAR their fees, buy tires, plus "whatever" you could be looking at an around $10,000 just to attempt to qualify. Is the payback worth it? Sure, but again he didn't make the field last week and that money is gone.
I'd rather attempt & fail at something , than sit back & wonder "what if? " ...Bring one each week...if it makes it, it makes it..if not, then thats racing....second car is bonus....
TOG , my WAG of $10,000 to go to a race and try to qualify is just that, a guess. Is it around that amount?

And I did say it was worth trying to do. If the 43rd car pays back $130,000 then it is what I would do also.
@Bruce, that around the number for my guess to enter a car.Roll the dice.
Hey Mike. I see you live in North Bend, WA. Is Denny Merrill still around there? He raced a class 8 Ford back when I was racing and we became friends.
@Bruce, sorry I don't know him.
Thanks. It was a long shot, I know
Anyone see Dave Despain interview with Roger Penske tonight? Dave incorrectly said that there are only two Dodges in Sprint Cup, both being Penskes....wrong Dave
