That's a good thing! But RG needs a little cushion and soon. When's Watkins Glen?
Locked.....
The 21 team will skip Loudon. Racing the #71 & #38 teams next week. Both have to qualify on speed.
I'd be surprised if there were more than 45 entires at NH which means that the 71 and 38 shouldn't have a problem making the race. Indy and Pocono are all that stand between NH and WG!
With only a 7 and 17 owners point cushion on the 71 and 38, Robby MAY have to run the entire race at Loudon to protect his locked in status at Indy.
Robby will still be driving the Bullrun rally, I don't expect to see him at Loudon.
I don't think next week is a S&P.
I hope not, as I'll be at the race. But my expectations are set really, really low.
Robby last day for the Bullrun is Friday, he can be at the race on Sunday.
I'd be happy to see him (and the souvy hauler) next week, but I'm not counting on it.
Why fly in to Laconia to watch or cheer lead? IMO look for Scott to run as many as 90 laps or maintain a points lead on the 71.First we need to see if the 71,then 38 make the show.(Kvapil DNQ'd last year) IMO
With Indy being a large payout (last place paying $130,000+)...I fully expect RGM to do whatever it takes to stay ahead of the 71 and 38 next week.
