Dakar.com says:
Being from the U.S.A. I'll be watching Robby & Hummer #2, Street, Quinn, Miller & any other American (both No & So.)
Canadians rarely show up, but I've seen a few in the past.
American cars, Quads (Polaris is from my home state), Trucks, Bikes (ha, No Rokons, but a Harley Side Hack a few years ago) are all noted.
First timers are always fun, especially those with little or no crew. The Privateers I believe.
Being a fan of the female form, I always track those drivers & crews. Go Annie Seel! Where's Jutta Kleinschmidt? (Robbies teammate the first go round, whom gave up hours & a steering rack for so she could run for the podium)
The Finns & Dutch Trucks for family tie reasons.
The Big $$$ mfgrs & teams are tough to follow, but Robbie gives them all a run.
I'm thinking he'll take the 2WD open class again, but I sure would like an over all #1.
A great retirement gift for the Hummer Brand
HUMMER:
Huge Ugly Monster Makes Enormous Ruts?
Howdy Underlings, My Monsterous Ego Rules?
Hold Undies, Motor Makes Extreme RPM's? (Robbie's only, Stockers stunk!)
#366 DE URIARTE PEREZ JOAQUIN in a US Prepped/built Predator
#368 DE URIARTE BUERGO PEDRO In a US Prepped/built Predator
Both racing in the SCORE class. Will be fun to see how these cars do.
Those Overdrives look good, Didn't DeVilleir (sp?) drive on a few years ago?
I've always liked the FJ Crusers & strange collection of buggies.
The McReas had issues last year but they're back in quantity.
Team Chinook 385 in a Chevy Sierra.
Team 430 CZE lists a H3 EVO Hummer, but no pictures of it yet.
Neither of these note 2 or 4wd
Team 431 ARG in a Jeep Grand Cherokee... Nice looking rig.
Lots of great looking rigs this year.
