No reason why Robby cant beat the 09, 36, and 64 at the very least.
I think a few people said that about a week ago.
Yes BUT Robby wasnt in the car, now was he? If Robby was in the car, im pretty confident he would be in, remember Ted who had never driven a COT, was a half a corner away from making the race.
Ted did fine...he missed the show by 2/100ths of a second and had a great lap going into that corner. I can't believe all the criticism that Ted and Robby have taken over that qual lap......It just didn't work out this time. If Ted didn't slide through that turn, both Ted and Robby would have been heros by 99% of those who were critical. And even with the slide, 90% of the the same critical people would have been just fine with Ted had he made the show by 2/100ths
Pocono is old news. Get over it.
I don't buy the whole COT deal either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Geoff Bodine had never ran a COT either and he made it in a S&P car. They just missed a race....no excuses.
Don't be surprised to see a top 20 start this week for RG. When it comes to making it in on time, we should feel very safe at Michigan.
Hey,
I would be OK with Ted in a second RGM entry.
Is this MSNBC or Fox News? Because you all are twisting what i said. Im not criticizing Ted at all, I am saying, Ted Musgrave, a seasoned Nascar Veteran who had never driven a COT before Friday missed the race by a little mistake made halfway between turn 3. Now thats the past, onto Michigan, where Robby is back in the car and at a track hes had plenty of success at, especially when it comes to quals
Dario, is that you ?
Hahahaha
i would like for NASCAR to tear down every start and park car each week. Somehow I do not believe that a up to the moment Robby Gordon chassis is not better than someones old stuff or at least year old stuff. And I know Robby Gordon can outdrive the regular SP guys. Just seems odd they go so fast to qualify with old cars and not fresh engines....my two cents.
