RG is a RockStar in Dakar and yet NASCRAP does not even get him any press for his efforts.   Can somebody help me understand why?  Biffle runs one race in the desert and he becomes the best cross-over driver in the world…

rally hasnt even started yet.

Nascar.com ALWAYS gives RG proper coverage during Dakar.

As of Today...Nothing!!!   Nothing about his prep involved in the race, his accomplishments, his diversity in his driving skills, etc...

http://www.nascar.com/

On the "News" page at NASCAR.com there is a category called "Newswire" in which every article listed is about the Dakar Rally....  I know it's not exactly NASCAR writing a story about Robby, but he's the reason why the stories are being linked on the NASCAR site...

Once the rally starts, NASCAR usually posts daily how Robby fared in each stage.

Money talks in Nascar.  Dakar still keeps it real at the grassroots level even with factory teams.
Last year he had acoverage everyday and when he won the stage he had the main article
Your right man here in Ensenada Mexico he can becam as president and everybody will vote for him Buena Suerte Robby
Gooou...  RRoobby your the one
Another thing to remember is NASCAR doesn't really have anything to do with NASCAR.com. It's owned, ran & completely controlled by Turner.
I agree and that being said, I think nascrap has a separate rule book just for Robby.

Nascar  can  not  make  a  lot  of  money  off  Robby Gordon  so  why  cover  him  they  can  not  get  a  cut  out  of  Dakar

Robby  Gordon  is  the  Man
Nascar.com had a real nice article about Dakar last year. Hopefully they'll repeat that again in 2011.
