New Crew Member from RCR?
Anyone else hear during the Pit Crew Challenge on SPEED, that a crew member from RCR's 29 team was a substitue for the challenge because the actual member left recently to go to Robby Gordon Motorsports? Broadcasters mentioned it in the first round of the competition. I wasn't really paying attention until I heard RGM mentioned..........

I thought I heard them say it was Kirk Almquist's brother... But same as you I wasn't paying close attention.

Contrary to what folks might hear on the scanner sometimes, Kirk and RG get along real well and see eye to eye on many things.

One thing I can tell listening.....while they may not always see "eye to eye"...I can tell that Robby definatley respects Kirk's abiltiy....really been a nice change of pace and Robby's car's have been a world better this year

I also like how Kirk will take control when Robby starts to go over the edge, like chasing the 44 around last week at Darlington, and he is also not afraid to disagree with Rub's on changes to make to the car..

Definitely and how RG will listen and not overrule Kirk's suggestions, sometimes anyway. Which is a big improvement, like was said earlier "respect".
