or when it economically makes sense to run.
Other than Bill Elliott, these are probably the strongest 45 cars - no obvious go homer, q should be close, hope for Green to slip.
I'm not sold on the 46 and 64 cars. They are my picks to miss the race.
I hear ya. I'm just sayin no obvious junk like Derrick Cope, Stan Barrett, Unprepared T. Labonte, etc. 46 and 64 are capable of making the race, if someone slips a little on their run.
With the #71 S&Ping this week Robby should be able to cut the gap down to under 50 points for 34th place.
Depends when he parks and if it is before or after any big accident or attrition. No "big one" at Loudon, but a restart pileup could cripple 3 or 4 cars.
Who the spotter now that Larry Carter is gone I guess it's all on miles now
unless something happened in the last couple day's, TOG said Larry Carter was with the team (#7) this past weekend helping out, spotting i think?
Jayski:
Management changes at Rusty Rallace Racing: UPDATE: Larry Carter will be the new general manager of the Rusty Wallace Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series teams, according to a source familiar with the situation. The team fields the #66 of Steven Wallace and the #62 of Brendan Gaughan. Carter will replace Rick Carpenter, who has held the position for three years. Carter has most recently served as a spotter for Sprint Cup driver Robby Gordon, but the 47-year-old has a long history in the sport. A Raleigh, N.C., native, Carter worked with team owner Rusty Wallace as a crew chief in 2004. He spent two years as crew chief for Jamie McMurray at Roush Fenway Racing and worked with Paul Menard at Yates Racing in 2009. He got his start in NASCAR in 1999, working with the Cup program of his uncle, Travis Carter. (Fox Sports)(9-13-2010)
oops! lol
Yes, Larry is with RWR now. He helped with the #7 at Richmond. BTW, Larry went to Crandon with us, and he is one of the funniest guys in the garage. He said he still had a good relationship with Rusty, so it's no surprise he finally got his desk job that he always wanted.
Good for Larry
