Just got home from California Speedway....
The race was actually pretty entertaining.....except for the fact that Jimmie Johnson got a lucky break.. again. Also, Robby's car was horrible. He didn't sound happy over the radio either calling his car "a peice of s---" several times.

If you include all the people in the infield there maybe have been 55,000 people. Lower ticket prices will get more fans. For example to purchase and infield weekend wristband, as long as you are with an RV, it is $100 given this is good from Thursday till Sunday but this price used to be $40 about 6 years ago. Yes people pay it but nowdays it is easier to get and infield RV spot than before. You used to have to get on a waiting list to even get in. Hopefully this is a wakeup call for them.

Auto Club Speedway is another ISC (NASCAR) owned track so I can't see it losing a race. ISC also owns Kansas Speedway and are about to break ground on a hotel and casino outside turn two scheduled to open early 2012. I look for a non ISC track to lose a race, most likely Dover, and have that race added to Kansas.

yes..same as Dover...I know Robby will probably not race at Dover in May, but I went to Dover races before RG and I'll go to them after RG retires. Racing is racing !

Yes........Dover is a awesome track to see a race at.......that's in my part of the world............I have 3 in the area Richmond, Dover n Pocono..........I do the spring night race in Richmond n the fall race at Dover n then on to the Eastern Shores of Maryland for the following week..........Pocono could be reduced to 1 race a year that's a very boring track. TOG...... is Robby going to be doing the Richmond spring race ??

I went to Fontana 1 time and left 1/2 way thru it, sat about 1/2 way up in the stands more closer to turn 4, the cars are to far away and when they run up on the front stretch they are up against the wall, if you look real hard you can watch em run down the back stretch. go get a beer and pee, walk back up by the time you get back to your seat, its time to get another beer and P again. To me it was about beer/peeing and goin up and down those stairs. Its as much fun watching the 10 freeway on a holiday. So I sit home walk x distant to p x distant to the fridge, put it on my tevo fast forward the BS and commericals.........if Robbys out IM out. No more live racing for me.
and while IM at it NASCAR is a complete sales gimmick, Darrell Waltrip owns the rights to that fricking gopher,Kenny Wallace gets free air time to show off his sponsers for his nationwide car,when he isnt acting like an idiot on the speed channel, The Wallace brothers have it figured out as do the Waltrips, as far as face time. Give me an underdog to win each and every race. and WTF is that bearded guy with the glasses? rutledge...wtf is his story? why do I care what he has to say? LOL my rant is over.. So what do have to say about that!

I say there should be NO race there!!! The race sucks and nobody shows up for it anyways! Bring back Rockingham, given it a good date where it wasn't cold and rainy all the time and people would have come.
