Dale Junior blew off the incident on television, but he was not happy with Vickers, who Junior claims forced him down while trying to block his advancement.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was pretty hot after the incident in which he and Brian Vickers tangled and triggered a hug pileup during Sunday's Daytona 500.

During a caution more than 20 laps later, Earnhardt radioed his crew and said, "Tell Vickers if he wants to meet me in the garage to get his ass beat, I'm willing."

You know I did notice a big change in attitude towards JR after some time went by.
We put on the Rose colored Robby glasses on from time to time.. I wonder if they put on the lime green colored JR glasses when they get slapped by NASCAR for dissing JR.
thanks for clear it up alan you got my point.
nascar has always been a dictatorship and never a democracy. most all in nascar bow down to the all mighty weather drivers, media, past drivers with their balls cut off or whatever bottom line is if i was in front i would have blocked if i was behind i would try to get in the lucky dog spot just like jr, robby and the rest . Racing is not just for the cars in the front or on the lead lap its for everybody in the race to race as hard as they want and for the fans like us to enjoy .think positive for California gas on and good luck robby
OK guys, I'ma have to call BULLSHIT. That is, on all the Jr. bias crap. How about when Jr. virtually got knocked out of chase contention @ 'Dega after saying bullshit on TV? Many had let one slip before, nascar decided in fact to make a big deal, out of a lil bullshit. How about getting penalized for the wing on the COT? Guess that was forgotten too. Seriously, there are too many POS writers out there, that sensationalize this BS. Heres 4 reasons to move on
1. nobody on pr.com was driving that car.
2. I don't care what has been taken out of context, Jr. said it wasn't intentional
3. It's Tuesday,& we're still beating the shit out of a dead horse.
4. This is a Robby Gordon site,& theres been multiple threads re: Dale Jr.burning here for 3 days now.
Can we move on to Cali. now?
...How about how they did nothing when he wrecked Kyle Busch on purpose at Richmond (I think?) last season? How about how they do nothing to him for obviously intentionally wrecking Vickers, and subsequently 1/4 of the field, yet when Jason Leffler makes a far more subtle move in the Nationwide race on saturday it's deemed "intentional". Who is NASCAR to determine intent? As long as NASCAR uses those subjective guidelines to decide things, it will always be the Daddy's Boy Jr.-show.
Nascar has said in the past they do NOT rule on intent, just if a rule was broken or not. Therefore, was Junior doing something that could be deemed agressive driving. Yes, he was. Why no call then?

I know what your saying Mike, it might not be a complete bias. But do you not agree if the #7 did what the #88 did Sunday, Robby would have recieved a penalty?

Its just a discussion, no worries either way. I have seen Nascar on the inside though, and this has just exposed what a lot of people already know. Watch the 2001 Pepsi 400 if you can find it, and listen to Jrs radio traffic...
Joco, last year @ RIR Kyle moved Jr, not the other way around. That was a racing thing too. Two guys racing for the same piece of track at the same time. Unfortunately, I was occupied during a lot of this wknd. I didn't see the nationwide race, so I can't comment on Leffler.
As for the whole aggressive driving thing, isn't that about the most ridiculous phrase used in racing?
I mean, thats the long& short of our sport. I dunno, did Vickers get penalized when he dumped the 8,& 48 @ 'Dega a couple yrs ago? Did the 24 get penalized when he dumped the 17 here @ Chicagoland a couple years back? How about when the 18 moved the 88 last year? Jr had a run, the right thing for Vickers to do would be pull over, he didn't, he challenged. Like I said before, if Vickers would've went spinning off into the grass, would anybody (other than Vickers' fans) have cared? It certainly wouldn't have got the attention here. You guys really want my opinoin? It's about fuckin time Jr. started acting like an Earnhardt!
Well then I meant later in the year, when Jr openly retaliated. How come when Daddy's Boy Jr does it, it's "just racin"? But if say David Gilliland puts Montoya out of the race then he's an idiot?

No Vickers didn't get penalized, but it was also a last turn of the last lap thing, not a lap 125 thing when he was a lap down. Regardless, this whole attitude that 'if Jr's building a run then everyone should just get out of his way' is ludicrous.
Not until we take down Jr. Nation. I hate Jr. fans. We (Robby fans) forgot more about Jr. they most Jr. fans will ever know, and I don't forget hardly anything. They are all band wagon jumpers, and I tell them that every time they talk Na$car with me............ F the 88, 2, P.O.S, 24, 14, 9, 47,....umm who did I miss?
uhhh hello the 11,20 and 18..yes the POS 18 car...
I wounder if Jr. had some 2nd thoughts after realizing half the Na$car garage was waiting in line behind Vickers.
Hey guys, off the subject a little when they interviewed Tony after both of his cars were wrecked I herd it got real expensive because a 3rd. car had to go thru tech. They mentioned 19k they already had to pay for the first two cars. True or not 19k to go thru tech for two cars every week. If so NA$CAR makes it everywhere, "no pay no play".

By the way: Jr. 337 starts , 18 wins, T-5s - 86, T-10s - 137
KB 151 starts, 12 wins, T-5s -47 T-10s - 72

Jr. will never win a championship.:)
