ok you all can rest easy now, Jim beam will be back with RGM in 2009 . Scenedaily has "confirmed" the rumor that was first reported on PlanetRobby way back in September. Robby Gordon is all set for 2009, now the last hurdle is getting locked in the top 35.

Heard Bob Pockrass say on SIRIUS Saturday that the deal was done, but waiting for papers to be signed.
That is just a technicality according to him.
No info for how many races though.

well being a lawyer..I tend to read tings literally, as one operates under the assumption the person writing uses the words they intend...
From the article, I would assume it is for 19 or more races..
"Jim Beam plans on returning as a primary sponsor for the majority of NASCAR Sprint Cup races with Robby Gordon next year "
36 races...a majority is 19...but I have a feeling he was loose with his words and it is probably in the 12-15 races range again...
