STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: SAN LUIS > SAN RAFAEL

Connection 365km | Special Stage 433km | Total 798km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The fastest special stage of the rally, at least for its first part, will also be the one where drivers will have to face the first dunes. And it won’t just be a brief encounter with sand: in the last 100 kilometres, the exploration of the grey dunes of Nihuil will be even more intensive than during previous visits. The sand is more firm there, but the experience will provide a great deal of insight about each of the competitors’ technical skills. In short it will be a veritable test.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

500 miles.

Do we know for a fact that he found and fix the problem yet? any insider here?

no,just the blind optimism because he drove it to the Biv.

I bet the wheels in Robby's mind were turning all the way to the Bivouac on what to do. I predict a long night ahead for everyone!

Best thing about Dakar, another race tomorrow, do not have to wait til next week.

matt

and best of all, he will start 17th.

What time do the first cars start the special for stage 2?

9:36 am est is the word on the street
NEVER SURRENDER!!! Everything will go downhill from now towards. The bad luck portion for Robby is over. GAS ON!!!
kudos to car 390 mercedez from argentina

Just happy that he was able to make it to the finish. Hopefully the crew will be able to figure out why it happened so Robby won't have it in the back of his mind. I look forward to the rest of the race and every stage that he is able to compete in. Thanks Robby and team for giving me a reason to continue to follow the race. Thanks also to Tog for all the work you do on this site to keep us fans informed. Gas On!!

Good Luck Today
