STAGE 10 TRACKING

STAGE 10: CALAMA > SALTA

Connection 501km | Special Stage 359km | Total 860km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The motorcyclists and quad bikers will set off for their second marathon stage! After the Chile-Argentina border, this time the day’s special stage will start on the Salinas Grandes, more than 3,600m above sea level. The altitude should curb the competitors’ enthusiasm and cool down their engines. The more technical final phase will separate the toughest of them from the rest. For the liaison section, the route will then follow the Paso de l’Acay, at an altitude of 4,970m.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

@ TOG good morning, why is the tracking showing RG 11th at +10:55 on wp6???

Notice he is 15th now.... You have to wait for the cars that started behind him to get to the WP; in order to calculate their time.

Now 16th...

He just posted a little too soon... http://www.dakar.com/dakar/2015/us/stage-10/live-timing/sector-2-cp...
At this point, with the cars that are thru, he's 16th

@j Hertogh I see that ,he is been 17th and no less then 15 according with the tracking, but TOG keeping posting 7th so I was wondering if the tracker was off ...?

It looks kind of looks weird, but it's not. He actually got to the WP as the seventh car, but after the time of all the cars which started behind him are calculated, it works it's self out after a while. I wish I could explain it a little better, sorry if I am making it more confusing.

Yep that's what I tho Zoomsss ,....I was hoping for a wrong tracking and been 7th ....

I was hoping for 4th instead of 8th yesterday.... hoping didn't pan out. :)

I post when RG passes through. Yes, position is subject to change as more cars pass, but you get an idea of his 'time behind'
