STAGE 12: San Juan > San Rafael

Connection 23 km | Special Stage 476 km | Connection 297 km | Total 796 km

Course Overview

For the longest stage of the rally, the program will be as lively as it will be spectacular. We will leave the area of dinosaurs on tracks cut by rios, surrounded by canyons and "fairy chimneys". After around 200 kilometres of special, the competitors will momentarily use the road in order to avoid a classified and protected natural site. The second part, exclusively sandy will have many jumps. The bikers can expect to have sore arms and the best of them will rarely ride at over 100 km/h. The day will be even more tiring due to the fact that it will end with a long liaison.

Sainz and Al-Attiyah have a history of deafness when it comes to the sentinel blasting from the car behind them.
Perhaps RG gave Sainz the chrome horn? Hope someone caught that on video!!
Maybe blindness too, I think it lights up on the dash. lol
Robby has now averaged a 9.833 finish per 12 stages. Not too shabby!!
Actually, prety shabby. Like any racing series, there are really only 10 or 12 teams capable of winning. Robby has joined this group ( a GREAT accomplishment). Unfortuneately, reliability issues have relegated him to the bottom of the group for this year. Nice job on the stage win, though. Lets get another one tomorrow!
If this was NA$CAR, an average finish of 9.8 would win you the title.. but I get where you're coming from. We all want to see Robby at the top!!

Good day for RG, finished 5th and moved up 2 spots overall!! Going to be tough to move up after this, but anything is possible. Gas on RG!!
BJ 19th Overall +21:04:37
We'll have to see how much of a penalty BJ gets for missing his start time... but 2 RGM cars in the top 20 overall is outstanding!!
Does anyone know if the penalty is on cumulative time or this stage? IOW will BJ start tail back again or start 13th where he can support RG?
