STAGE 6 TRACKING

STAGE 6: TUCUMAN > SALTA

Connection 270km | Special Stage 424km | Total 694km

COURSE OVERVIEW

Once they have left Tucuman, the cars will head north and drive along part of the renowned Ruta 40, and continue on in the heart of one of Argentina’s most beautiful landscapes. The possibilities to widen the gap will be limited but the most skilled drivers may be able to seize the opportunity of adding a stage to their list of wins. A new trip to the mountains will take motorcyclists to the banks of the rivers. They will have to remain vigilant until the very end of the stage as the region is frequented to a great extent by animals of all sizes. Then they will finally be able to rest.

The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

Hats off to RG and team for making it to the 1/2 way point in what is turning out to be a grueling Dakar!

Looks like some pretty tight racing today. Too bad seeing us beaten by so many cars that are normally not a threat, but good that we're still among the survivors !

A well earned rest day tomorrow.....though I imagine there will be some wrenches rattling about in their pit area!

Has anyone seen the list of withdrawals....there is a whole wack of them in every category.....13 in the cars just today.
Robby may win yet through attrition....maybe not....but there are a lot.

jajajajaja

Can we get about a dozen of these guys for the mini camp?

with 10 of these guys, or so we won, because they put a brake on the roof of the HST, do not they have a lot of intelligence to suggest increase you air intake, but because of that we lose speed, and philosophy of race went to the dump, this is really amazing

jajajajaj!

Hello really battle having Robby is large, the best driver, but did not make him the most difficult task putting the air intake until the day yesterday we were doing well, but give us the surprise that increased the ceiling.

edgard, The HST debuted a year early for which you can read about on the Dakar website. So for know enjoy the ride and wish them the best of luck as they work to make the HST better.

Vargas - Take the rest of the day off.
