Of all the crap that you read of Nascar's golden boy's you think they could give RG just a little face time and maybe talk about his off-road success but NO they would rather talk about JJ's little boo boo he got on his poor wittle finger......... It's time to end all this crap, RG you have to win, and somebody please get JJ a bandaid........(really had to vent)

Hehe good one. Reminds me of the commercial for Nextel a couple years ago when Elliot Sadler was like giving him advice and he has his crew bring out the trophy and is like, "You were saying...?"

The media follows the money.. they say what the big teams and manufactures want them to say. But a win would shut them up. They would have to talk about RG positively. Perhaps with RG's Toyota ties that go way back means he might get better PR from the manufacturer, something he hasn't received in years past. But I do agree with Mike/WC77 that RG has gotten more positive press lately. The fact that NASCAR.com even mentioned Dakar and Laughlin is enough evidence to me that RG is getting more of a look. Heck, many of the writers may secretly pull for RG. Why not? It's a great David Vs. Goliath story!! I for one love the fact that RG is the black sheep and that he writes his own rules. I wouldn't want him to be any other way..

BY the looks of DAKAR and Laughln, Robby looks to have changed' patient, consistent, take care of the eqipment...finally lookin big picture. I think TOYOTA will be the best thing thay ever happened to his nascar program.

yes at least NASCAR dot com did in fact carry daily updates regarding Robby at Dakar and even published a nice piece saying how fantastic Robby is as a racer and all his accomplishments. Since last year I emailed them shaming them for not carrying a word about Dakar I of course emailed them this year thanking them for their pretty good coverage.

it's time to win? We just finished winning Laughlin and 3rd in the Dakar. 2 pretty huge wins right there. RG is doing great so far, just need to wait on NASCAR to not F him over. lol
