Of all the crap that you read of Nascar's golden boy's you think they could give RG just a little face time and maybe talk about his off-road success but NO they would rather talk about JJ's little boo boo he got on his poor wittle finger......... It's time to end all this crap, RG you have to win, and somebody please get JJ a bandaid........(really had to vent)

you'd thought somebody would have cut the airhole in his suit for him (you know being who he is).....yeah a win would nice (outside of the off-road success) but........................

One hour special on speedtv tonight on the status and implications of this devastating injury and the long term effect it will have on NASCAR. Panel of experts joining host Mike Joy include Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Ruth and Jimmy Spencer. They will discuss JJ's ability to feed self, tie shoe, pick nose and reproduce.

Also hear Lowes pulled all Kobalt utility knives from shelves pending further investigation AND Hendrick trying to hire away guy that carries JPM's gloves to hold JJ's middle finger and cut hole in his driver suit from now on..

As for Robby, NASCAR beat reporters don't give a flip about other racing disciplines... it's nothing personal.

As for Robby and NASCAR beat reporters... As David Poole has often said, all a driver has to do to get some face and print time is run up front consistently. Media doesn't give a flip about back markers... again, it's nothing personal.

Hearing Joonyer has a hang nail... say it isn't so!

I usually agree, Nascar shows very little about Robby, but Nascar.com has done very well this off season. They've had daily updates about Robby during Dakar, and they did a great story on Robby (not getting the credit he deserves).

Jayski has also had alot of Robby stories too.

I would say Robby has had more press this off season than most of last season...including his lawsuits!

I gotta agree with Zoom here. I've been pleasantly surprised with the "mainstream racing media" coverage of RG's off road endevors this off season. Members on here have been buzzing about RG getting a spread in NASCAR SCENE. I posted a thread last week about RG from nascar.com. I believe it was last week also, somone added a quote from Tony Stewart re: Robby from a nascar.com interview.
Theres 3 examples off the top of my head from the last week. How much more do you need? I think it's time we as RG fans reserve the media bashing for those in the media who actually DO bash RG. Lets take a "do not fire, unless fired upon" approach here. I for one do not want to head into '09 season with this BS in tow. "Nascar is conspiring against us", "the media bashes RG". So I say any,& all crybaby fans, please report to the Hendrick fan experience, your party is waiting for you there.

Mike, I agree but the policy is always be prepared to return FIRE!! As far as the media goes will just have to be prepared to punt a few of the yahoo's on yahoo sports again!!
