Just listened to the Sirius clip from this morning and Robby at the very end said Monster has decided to go a different direction with their Nascar sponsorship dollars. He also said Infinion was their (Monsters) last race with the #7. So is that is for the Monster on the #7? Is Monster still on the offroad side? I hope so because I just went and bought 2 cases of the Blue Monster at Costco to celebrate the 2nd place. It may be tough finishing it knowing they left. I have not had Red Bull since Robby changed. Does Menards make an energy drink? I guess I could start drinking Mapei grout! Man what a bummer week. I was on such a high on Sunday.

I'm curious if Ricky got the same news.
So the coolest looking car on the track is no more....man, what a roller coaster....sky high to rock bottom in 2 days!!!
Robby picked the best possible time to get his best finish in 5 years.
Great point...imagine if he finished 30something this race. He has some valuable exposure which will help the sponsor hunt....thanks for talking me off the ledge. ha
This reminds me of when Robby won at Loudon in 2001.It was Lowes last race as a sponsor with RCR after a winless 5 years
Obviously though they have made a few bucks back with Hendrick and J.J.
IT really took you two days?? ROFLMAO
I figured we would of seen Monster back on at Daytona, Indy & Watkins Glen at least. Oh well. I'm sure he will get some sponsor for those races.
He's said all those are funded, so whether the car is Monster-green-on-black or lavender-on-pink I couldn't care less haha
This is great news. Hear me out... this opens up the Watkins Glen race to potential sponsors which Robby can market and hopefully sell a block of races with Watkins Glen included as the focal point as opposed to only selling a block of cookie cutter tracks.
Losing a sponsor in this economy can never be a good thing, especially when you are a small independant team. And we all know nascar helping the small team is a farce.
Selling a block of races with Watkins Glen included is much much easier than selling a block of races without Watkins Glen included.
Especially when you were the 3rd fastest car at Infineon and got a no-shit 2nd place with it. Great time for a great finish.
