Just listened to the Sirius clip from this morning and Robby at the very end said Monster has decided to go a different direction with their Nascar sponsorship dollars. He also said Infinion was their (Monsters) last race with the #7. So is that is for the Monster on the #7? Is Monster still on the offroad side? I hope so because I just went and bought 2 cases of the Blue Monster at Costco to celebrate the 2nd place. It may be tough finishing it knowing they left. I have not had Red Bull since Robby changed. Does Menards make an energy drink? I guess I could start drinking Mapei grout! Man what a bummer week. I was on such a high on Sunday.

doesn't sound to promising
I thought he meant just the last race for this year, but I may be hearing what I wanted to hear, instead of what was really said. I guess we'll find out.
Monster still on the off road side, just not on the nascar side. They never really liked being involved in nascar. basically, the $ they allocated for nascar was going to go elsewhere. If you have been a Robby fan over the last 3 years, then you know that Monster never really was into the nascar end of it. I am glad they were on the car for the amount of races they did do.
Well, they'd better pull the plug on the Nascar Truck program too, that Carmichael guy, right?
Rickys deals have no affect on Robbys. Two entirely separate situations.
I would bet Carmichael has a lifetime deal that he worked out while moto-ing..
The comment was right after the 9:25 mark for those that missed it. He did say "this season" so maybe in the words of Lloyd Christmas. "He's saying there's a chance"
Monster is still involved with Robby Gordon: Just not on the side of the car in Nascar the rest of this year. Still on the helmets in Nascar. still on the trophy truck & dakar for 2011.

Red Bull has their own team in place, for Scott Speed & Brian Vickers. Lets just squash that before it even has a chance to pull a balloon boy and get offground.
Plus he'd have to pony up $2500 to buy his helmet back:

Red Bull also already has a Dakar team in place.
If they dont want to be in NASCAR then why are they on Rick Carmichaels truck? Dont see his sponsorship going away. Guess Robby should get a nic name like GOAT.
You would be surprised at Ricky Carmichaels deal. Monster gave Ricky "x" amount of dollars to spend , and he spent it on a truck ride. Not a very big $$ deal either.
