I have a question for all of the experts we have on this site.  In the winter when I'm doing a power slide around every curve in the road.  Why is it I am much smoother on the left handers then I am on the right hand turns?   I have never raced on a track.  But turning left seem to feel much more comfortable in a slide!
Is it because I'm right handed?  Or if the steering wheel was on the right side of the car would I be better at a right hand turn?    Just for fun

Its a 4x4 but most of the time I keep it in 2x4. Its a lot harder to control in 4x4. And you need more speed for a smooth corner. Dirt snow its all the same. You just pitch it in, get it all crossed up, and stand on the gas.
Harder to control in 4x4...hmmm
OK here's my theroy, Your more comfy turning left because if you are going to hit something, it would be on the opposite side of the car that your sitting in.
agreed.
I'm a tournament slalom waterskier and also a rated driver for slalom tournaments. Even in an inboard ski boat, which are right hand drive, I favor turning left. That goes the same even in boats which naturally turn right due to left handed prop rotation. That tells me it's something in between my ears doing it.
