10-4 Sherri, I was hopeing to know Monday I guess......LOL
The fine is minimal, but atleast they did something. I am hoping Brad penalizes Carl in Cup. Hopefully the last race before the chase Carl is 12th and Brad puts him in the wall and costs him from being part of the chase!!! I used to think Carl was good for the sport, but Stewart called it early. THE GUY IS EDDIE HASKELL!!!
It didn't hurt him. Nothing is going to come of this.
I don't think NASCAR should take any action, but the garage should make sure Carl knows he's a dick. No one should work with him, and they should spin him any time it's to thier benefit.
I agree Alan . Let's see how he'd like that . I bet he'd never quit crying and complaining .
Actually, it appears his response to what he feels was being wrecked and pushed around on track by a driver, has been to issue a "zero tolerance" type policy with that driver on track.

And that, is where we are now in the saga.
Pretty much every driver in the field will hit/bump and if necessary spin someone if it is to their benefit. It happens every single week.

And these moral stances go flying out the window once someone sees an opportunity to advance themselves. A few drivers may get on their high horse and comment, but if there is an on track benefit to working with Edwards, every driver in that field will work with him.
I agree with you Gray , every driver is out there for himself , and when the opportunity arises to move someone out of the way to as you said , advance themselves, they will do it . Since these two have a history , every time this happens people start talking , and saying it was done on purpose as a payback for an earlier incident . Since Nascar has given them the go ahead to 'have at it' , this is what we will be seeing on the track .

I never like seeing a driver take a hit like BK did , but it's a part of racing , and will always be a part of racing .

BTW , do drivers actually have moral stances ? LOL
here's the replay (I hadn't seen it so had to check it out).

just my opinion, but it looked intentional. not malicious, but as a "I'm going to stick to my line and drive and to hell with you" intentional... either way, a stupid and dangerous move.

drivers have been fined for less than that.. so, what gives?
Beyond the history these two drivers have with each other is past occurences they've both been party to with others. Both have been downright reckless on the track and will get back what they dish out when given the chance. It's all good hard racing. Until somebody gets killed. The safety built into this COT has actually brought more risk as it can take a harder hit.

Don't like either of these guys, but neither should be surprised when karma comes their way. They've both earned every hit they take.
Has anyone seen the ESPM commercial where the CE and BK hauler drivers race to Talledega? LOL!
i bet Roger Penske is getting upset at the cars Carl has torn up
