Looks as Danica be attempting the Daytona 500 in 2012. What number will she use? If RGM is not in the top 35 with the #7, would the number be on the market? If so what could be the asking price for the limited cup races she's planning.

Maybe a partnership/support deal to use the same cars as Tony, Ryan and Danica in 2012. There would be room for a fourth team under a SHR? Or a deal just like the 78 and RCR. Work smarter, not harder.

Keep selling Speed Energy! Gas On RGM.

Just putting a brand name on a car isn't sponsorship.
@Shane, would you like to elaborate?
Not talking about Speed sponsoring Robby. Just meant a lot of people on here are saying take Speed to Tony Stewart for the races that Danica isn't running. Bringing a name to put on the car isn't sponsorship. It's bringing cash, and lots of it.
Thank you
Your right, otherwise my daily driver would be "sponsored". I'm not sure what kind of transaction you're looking for, but I assure you SPEED ENERGY is a seperate entity from RGM. Good to see the ultimately negative morons havent all been banned tho....leaves a lil sport shootin for admins on the next raceday chat. Bring your dumbass statements. Tell us Shane what do you know, we dont?

Whats that noise? Is it crickets, or the gears attempting to turn in your head, desperately trying to formulate a comeback? Maybe, it was just the brakes on the short bus coming to pick you up...
Uh oh, somebody ran me outta patience...just when we were having an intellegent thread
Sorry if my response wasn't quick enough for you. Unlike someone like you and your superior intelligence, I don't monitor the responses every minute. Wasn't being negative about Speed or Robby or RGM. I was negative on the people that don't know what sponsorship means. Robby's situation with Speed is unique. I don't see Speed Energy coming up with millions to sponsor a Stewart or any other team car at this point. If they had it, they would be putting it in to RGM. Sponsorship is providing the funding for the racing, and the name on the car is the privilege you get for the millions.
If you got your panties in a bunch because you thought I was responding to your post, check the thread.
@Shane, thats why I asked for a clarification.
So I was doing some research on the #7 in the Cup series. All stats from Racing-Reference.info

Cool stats....I wouldn't have guessed that RG had the most starts in the 7. Too bad he hasn't given the number its 24th win.

Best stat listed....lowest finish 56th
Worst stat listed....Kevin Conway, 7 starts (throwing up in my mouth a little)
I think NASCAR should give Danica the #3 and be done with it.
I'm sure richard childress would have something to say about that.
It was sarcasm.

I think Danica will use the #77 unless the NASCAR/Hendrick/Go Daddy consortium do a deal with Robby for the #7.
Hendrick, with NASCAR's 'blessing', will also get the #4 owner points as part of the deal.
In return, Robby will receive cash, #83's owner points, and 2 second round draft picks.
