Doesn't Robby's contract to run the Hummer in Dakar end in 2010?
Don't think a contract is worth much with out money - maybe RGM was "pre-paid".......LOL.
Time for a Toyota 4-Runner in Dakar!
I don't think anyone can definitively say.
With Judges, Lawyers and Accountants now in charge anything goes.

That said, I don't think Robby relies on GM Racing Division (which is now a skeleton of what it used to be) for anything other than money for his off-road ventures. Other racing disciplines will feel the affects from a technical aspect.
all systems are go for 2010 dakar.
Good News - thanks
Wait - Four cars this year, right?
I know there will be 3, not 100% sure on the fourth.
Be sort of ironic to put the Hummer in 1st then no one in the world will be able to buy one! lol
then instead of I love Crepes on the back , they can just replace the " Hummer " with " Bummer "
But will it be a Hummer?

Is Robby's contract with GM or Hummer, because it appears that Hummer got sold off.

GM at the last minute also found buyers for some unwanted subsidiaries, including German-based Opel, which is being acquired by a consortium led by Canadian auto-parts supplier Magna International Inc., and the Hummer brand, whose buyer remained undisclosed.
I think his contract was with GM, covering both the Baja and Dakar efforts. It's hard to say what happens with the Dakar effort now, if Hummer is sold but the contract is still with GM. Maybe the new owner of Hummer will want to foot the bill for that part of the sponsorship, which, depending on who the new owner is, could be a good thing for Robby going forward.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
