How does Kurt Busch keep his ride when so many others would do anything to get his seat at Penske?

WARNING LANGUAGE!!!!

OK with sponsors being hard to come by, with teams like RGM struggling to find funding. With mega teams like RCR and Roush shutting down teams, with guys like Reutimann, Ragan and Vickers looking for a ride in any series.

How is it Kurt can keep a fully sponsored ride? This video makes me appreciate guys like RG even more all the time.

I dont know how many saw Kurt give the middle finger out his front window as he was pulling into the garage right after the trans broke in his car at this last race. But that was the beginning of his rage.

Here is a video of Dr Jerry Punch trying to interview Kurt during the Homestead race. Actually they were waiting to go live and Kurt was pissed he was having to wait. He really got mad when Jerry asked him if he knew a part of his trans might have put a hole in the front of Stewarts car.

Couldn't pay me enough to deal with an asshole like that. And its not an isolated incident, he's like that all the time. I guess thats probably why he got divorced also.

Wow - thanks for posting...I had no idea he had that kind of attitude. Pretty interesting and short sighted. His success depends on TV coverage and this is how he treats them....

It seems akin to berating the waiter at the restaurant where you're eating....a little dumb since he's going to bring you the food you'll eat.

People have always said that work for Speed channel that Kurt is the worse guy to talk to. And Kyle away from the camera is just a good guy.

Thanks for posting that---everybody should check out RG's video at the finish of the baja 1000---what a contrast. RG is always considerate with the media and fans and only has issues with other drivers on the track---(can't blame him 90% of the time). Kurt is always on the radio moaning and bitchin about how crappy the car is. Notice how Penske is pushing for Sam Hornish to get back to cup by 2013---look for Kurt to be gone. He has a ride because he wins races. Attitude is part of racing. I'll take a guy who gets pissed all the time because his car sucks over a guy who says, "on to the next one." It's about passion. RG complains the same with his cars every race.

Hey---I'm all for attitude but not coming down on Punch for trying to do his job. If you got some balls come down on other competitors like RG does not some reporter trying to do his job. Hey, lucky for Busch that wasn't me---He would be wearing the microphone on the side of his head

All I can say is there is a time to ask Stupid questions, but that was not the time, when your car brakes in the first part of the race, don't worry about punch if my memory is correct he also had a run in with AJ at indy in the 70-80s and almost ate the mic

Chocolate and roses rehearsals and poses the image we spin when we go out. Shut the door slowly and soon I'll grow lowly then what I really am you'll see soon no dought. I forget who said that .........perhaps it was a girl I dated back in college (she was going not me). The good doctor has been around quite awhile and while I don't know what he is like behind closed doors he has a job to do and as far as I can tell does it rather well. In that light he does not deserve to be treated like that. The bigger Bush (see shrub) as frustrated as he was deserved a slap. Did you ever hear of the guy who won the lottery and paid folks who he wanted to tell off that he thought deserved it to stand there and take it? Of course not, when things are going great who wants to be the ASS? Which makes me think of a phrase "You owe it to your public". I know in no uncertain terms that there are drivers......(AND CREW CHIEFS AND MEMBERS) who are not very nice folks. So......... But all that hog wash aside if someone calls you a "mother fu#$%er" that is a code word for there are no more rules. And as it stands now Bush needs a prescription. thanks for posting that.

This mother fucker is so undeserving of a ride. They should send his ass packing. I'll never put penzoil in my car. What a piece of shit. His sponsors should drop his ass after seeing this video. He can't represent them. Put Hornish in the car.
