yeah I have no idea either, just nice to hear the car...
I think its a show car ride.
It's gotta be a show car- it has wiper blades, and we all know RG didn't run the last montreal race.
thanks cow.
the people in tht town must have been thinking wtf
Nena, this was the world famous road course. World famous.
They had this course until an accident caused the course to
be constructed on the current site.
I hope you stay a Robby fan for a long time.
Regards,
SW
They are used to the 'Thunder in the Glen.' It is part of race weekend!

Nice find!
Yes, most of that is right outside the village of Watkins Glen, near the glen and the state park. The track is not far from there. It is hard to tell on the video, but the main intersection they are stopped at in town, is painted in checkers. On the Thursday before race weekend they usually have the 'Thunder in the Glen', when they run race cars (or the street equivalents) up and down the streets in town for the afternoon, as a tribute to the old road racing there. Perhaps that is what this car is participating in. Watkins Glen is a pretty small village on the south end of Seneca Lake (35mi. long), and is surrounded by steep terrain. Good for the 'echo' factor.
Shop Goddess just told me about this. I did alot of online research on this track and this was right here @planetrobby the whole time. LOL
