Sorry folks, I was missing in action this weekend due to a wedding. I am trying to figure out how the race went for RGM. I saw the car was fast in practice, did it just not have the speed Sunday? Was this because of the weather change? Or was the car fast and pit stops shuffled them back?

I noticed on one of the pictures here that a crew member was under the car on pit road during the race. Did they have to fix something?

Again, sorry for the questions, I am just trying to catch up.

Also, I suppose this mosty goes out to TOG, any word on Sonoma sponsorship? Exciting stuff, and just for everyones info I have heard about Robbys new cars for the road courses from team members on other teams. There are more people interested in seeing how fast those cars are other than just RGM and Robby Gordon fans...

Robby had a good day on Sunday. He stayed on the lead lap the entire race. No problems, just checking stuff when they were the last car on the lead lap. Fuel conservation mode the last 45 laps. His great qualifying effort gave him the essential track position and there were many long green runs. Fantastic race leading into Infineon.Dont we usually have the next race details here on Monday? LOL
Yup, you always have the details, just making sure I didnt miss anything.

Like I said TOG, there is a buzz with some guys in the garage area about Robbys stuff for this weekend. It should be entertaining....
Its going to be a great weekend.
I assume Rob realizes that if he finishes in the top 5, NASCAR will dock him 50 points if there is one decal that isn't perfectly parallel to the ground or one speck of trash on the gril or one pebble of dirt in his pits or if the part on his hair doesn't match that of Mike Helton's or if he doesn't hold the door for Junior.
LOL!!!!!!!
HOLD THE DOOR FOR JR....
now thats funnny
so is this a new purpose built road car? whis is everyone looking forward to seeing it beside us....
If Robby truly has built a car that is head and shoulders above the current crop of COT road course cars, you better believe every other team will be looking to see what they did. (Teams my engineering friends work at) Right now though, its a debate on if its hype or actual substance. (I have no clue either way, nor does anyone besides RGM, but we will all find out soon)
Ooh red and green, eh? The air is tinged with anticipation...
Tecate is red and green... Obvious ties in California, but I doubt Beam would be ok with them on the car...

it isn't tecate. The details will be out soon.
Sounds good. Honestly, the car could be blank for all I care, as long as its fast....
