Friday Practice Update From Robby

As you know, Robby was second quickest in Friday practice. Only ran 4 laps,and that was all he needed to run.Car is great,and he will not run in Saturdays practice(even if it doesn't rain). Car won't see the racetrack until they drop the green on Sunday. Enjoy your weekend.

Smart move on Robby's part to sit out Saturday. Looks like some other guys should have done that as well.

Glad to hear that they changed the motor. He and Bobby L. sat out Happy Hour. The Stewart Haas crew can't be too happy with Ryan taking out Tony! Here is to a good race tomorrow!

Sounds great for Robby. I'm almost confidentb of a good run. Fingers and everything else crossed. Glad he's missing todays practice, this car needs wrapping in cotton wool and leaving in an oxygen chamber untill the green on sunday !

Word in the garage is Hendrick higher ups have tried to stiffle Tony with the Goodyear comments.

This is from a friend who was helping one of the teams out who didnt make the race, and is just spending the rest of the weekend wandering the garage area.

Not Goodyears best tire, but its on the Hendrick cars tearing the crap out of them.

It seems clear that the Hendrick chassis isnt working well with this compound. I wonder if well see a Daytona this year like Indy last year! Wouldnt that just ruin the season!
