Believe it or not, I do not remember Nick saying a thing over the radio as Robby went through turn 4 and onto the front stretch about the 07 being high and/or looking to the outside. I remember thinking as Robby and Clint came off turn 4 and by me "Oh shit, this is about to get ugly...why isn't Nick saying anything".

I have no idea what happened on the spotter's stand that race.
Was Nick distracted by something (i.e. another spotter asking him a question)?
Did he have to run to take a quick piss?
Was he reaching down to take a swig of water or something?
Or was it simply the angle the spotters have of the exit of turn 4 and that front stretch from turn 4 to the start/finish line at California?
Or did Nick not think the 07 was going to get that good of a run through 3 and 4 because he was so far back through 3?

I'm going with the piss, or a quick catnap, sounds like he definitley blew it though, at a track like California that shit's just unnacceptable, I know it is a little hard seeing straight down when there up against the wall, but from up above in the spotter's stand, he should of atleast given him a heads up he was coming and getting a run on Rg, oh well, gone now.

I know there are some tracks that when the cars are at a certain spot, it is hard for the spotter to clear a driver or let the driver know that someone is looking to pass because they really can't tell the position of one car to another. I don't know where that spot is at California (if there even is one). If I remember right about this particular incident, Robby went through 3 and 4 down low or in the middle while Clint was running the high line. That right there will pose a problem for the spotter since you see such a gap between the two cars. I dunno. Only Nick really knows what happened at that time.

On a side note, I have been on the elevator at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale with Nick's dad, Bob. Everytime he asks jokingly if I am a Robby Gordon fan and tells me that his son used to work for Robby.

He knew the 07 was coming, I was just being a little nice on Nick's behalf, bottom line, the dude was sleeping, or he had radio problems- but if you know racing, like Nick tryed to know, then you knew Bowyer was getting a run on him, ya got'a give em' a heads up on what's coming-ol' Nick has a calling somewhere- it just ain't racing or mountainbiking- the spotting, no one's perfect, he's still with Hornish, who know's. I know all about his dad, A good freind of mine helped build Irwindale for Mr. William's, him and Bob's cousin, I've met him in Mr. William's suite a couple time's and I better stop right there. Positive note, I met RG's dad in there, blew me away what a nice guy he was, super cool.

Does Monster really sell bikini's? If not they should, you did a good job.

I saw her at California last year. For the guys, all three days she wore form fitting jeans with stilettos. My feet hurt watching her walk from the haulers to pit road.

It'll be the 33, but you right RG would drop that Mofo, Boywer ani't that dumb- Andy did you slip that #7 tan mark in late, i missed it man, Genious-but maybe don't e-mail to Boywer, it might cost are boy a good finish one day,jk send it
