With the new NBC deal with Nascar ESPN will have a lot of time slots to fill. ESPN will loose the NASCAR, Nationwide and Truck Series races along with qualifying, practice and other Live events. Looks like a perfect time to pitch ESPN or TNT with Super Stadium Truck series. Hopefully a network can see the excitement building with this series. I know as a fan of RG, I have enjoyed the watching the series, but hate the tape delay and shortened episodes. Be great to have watched the Toronto races LIVE on TV.
RG could really give them a bargain compared to NASCAR.

Just ordered 1 case of Ethanol and Fuel by the way...with hopes of funding RG back into a few Cup races.

Side note : Roger is a great guy and athlete. You wouldn't know he was a big superstar at the local coffee shop :)

Why not just get a Gibbs chassis?

I guess if they announced RG in the 51 car at Watkins Glen you would all be on board... I would think RG would rather me buy Speed than Monster or some other energy drink.

Yes, but it didn't happen. I would think you would prefer SPEED Energy becouse it tastes better.

I'm with you Bigzoom...dreaming is free and fun! Don't listen to the nay sayers, they're no fun!

why not............I like it. We had a post called the "don'y" post .....somewhere out there in ..you know space. "why don'y we start the why not post....(the moderators decided to kill the don'y post after like 1500 posts........................so.....................Why don't ............I'm empty..............as per ESPN............its a sports station that is geared to "other people" why don't the "Speed factory" return.............HEY I DID IT !!!!!

What?

I understood what Michael said, then again, I'm fluent in Martinez.

PM me, I have no idea.

I like Michael's responses, they make you think about it a little harder .....

SST aside, the problem I see with the NBC NASCAR deal is 13 of 20 Cup races and 15 of 19 races will broadcast on the NBC Sports Network. Unless you have Comcast, which owns NBC, you have to upgrade your cable/satellite package. Since NBC Sports nabbed F1 from Speed, ratings are down 20% in the U.S. market.
