I think it is more important for an American team and an American driver to win. American equipment name would be a nice to have.

Damn right, but I must say if gm had to go, an AMG Mercedes powered GLK bodied Dakar car would be pretty sweet.

is it an "American" truck if it's a brand that's made in the states? Or is it an "American" truck if the company that makes is too incompetent to make an annual profit? GMC as a whole is a joke of an enterprise, and although I'm behind RG 100%, i'll be glad to see him rid of those losers. The sooner the better.
