Robby's 22nd place finish tightened him up in the points to pull with 36 points of 31st in Owner Points. Paul Menard moved ahead of Michael Waltrip & David Stremme into 31st.

(30th place has a 150+ point lead over 31st)

RGM also increased it's lead over 36th by quite a distance, making the Top 35 out of any jeopardy for a while.

I think 22nd was a gift.........we can debate the whole ride a round in the back thing all day long....bottom line when it was time to go Saturday Night....the car wouldn't go......it was obvious this was the first time this car had plate raced.......it was so slow coming off of the corners, instead of pushing him, other cars just drove right around him....

On to Chicago.........

I liked Robby's comment at the end of the race to Kirk "This plate racing is the dumbest thing we do all year long"
Actually, there was a f bomb right after "dumbest"...LOL
and then the day they tear up dega and tona, is the day i kiss nascar gooooodbye!!!
Well said, Cow.
Spot on.
Whats going on in Chicago?

My Bad.....

On to Joliet!
Robby didn't wreck during the race, he wrecked after the race. What position was he in when all hell broke loose? Did he lose or gain spots? I can't remember but I was thinking he should have done a kamikaze move and passed all the spinning cars. I know Harvick lost three spots because he slowed down.

I hate plate racing and wish they would increase the front surface area and lose the plate. Slow them down with aero and give them the slingshot back. Drafting and slingshotting is Daytona and Dega.
