Charlotte & Dega...any chance of an audible?

Robby has put Reed Sorenson behind the wheel the last two weeks. With Charlotte being in their backyard and Dega (1 year anniversary of SPEED launch) coming up...if there was a chance at an audible it would be one or both of these races.

Robby retired early from Chicago's race (intended to be a full race, but went 2 laps down & parked it with nothing to gain). So maybe Charlotte gets an audible?

However, if you look ahead Talladega is the following week. Robby loves the plate racing, but hated the 2-car tango. Nascar has made several rule changes to aid in preventing the 2 by 2 car dancing. It will mark the 1 year anniversary of the launch of SPEED Energy. I would hope Robby shows up and looks at how things work in practice. Qualifying will be a huge challenge for RGM. They've always built fast drafting cars, but haven't usually had a fast qualifying package.

Either way, I hope an audible is coming. Love to see Robby racing again.

By reading posts by some of the people on this website that seem to have an inside scoop on what is going on, I would be pleasantly surprised if this happened. They would have to qualify first. Not being negative, I just don't think RGM has the funding right now.

Having read some of the posts by people on this site that seem to have inside information about RGM, I would say Talladega is a possible full race:)

I still have hope that his decision on Dega will be a wait & see. If the cars still run 2 by 2, then no way. However, if the new rules package gets cars back to racing in packs then I would think Robby might give it a thought.

I think racing a full race at Dega is a must, if others get in trouble and Robby scores a decent finish he could get back into the top 35.

the 7 is 90 points out of 35th. At 1 point per spot the 7 would have to finish in the top 5 for 3 races and the 71 in the bottom 5 to get back in. His best hope to get in is having top 35 teams go away before the Daytona 500.

@Zoom, Na$crap didn't change the front bump and rear spoilers.That is what produced to two car tango.By reducing the cooling system pop off pressure 8lbs, it insured there will not be pack racing.Look for 2by racing with partners switching more often.Corporate teammates will be the rule of the day.IMO
