keep in mind that pj is obviously good enough to get is cup license. we all can sit on our couches and play our ps3's and break track records. in reality, anyone of us would be lucky to come within 20 seconds of anyone of these guys lap times at bristol (race laps are 15 secs?) do the math. pj is a good driver. he is a good friend. he has a presence that could be attractive to potential sponsors. robby is not a moron. there is a method to his madness. things will work out as much as he wants it to for 2011 and beyond... "always two there are..no more...no less...a master and an apprentice." Yoda....
maybe RGM doesn't bother with a second car, as there are 50 cars attempting. This isn't Michigan, TRIAD horsepower is not going to be enough.
Ah,Michigan was the horsepower track ( thats why Na$crap took Michigan engines, not Bristol engines) Horsepower is NOT what wins at Bristol.Keeping your nose clean,a car that rotates in the middle and has forward bite will win.
I predict both the 07 and 7 will be in the hauler ( and I pray straight ) by lap 80, other wise it mess's up the dollars per lap ratio
And thats 50 attempting with the 07
It'll be a struggle to get the 07 qualified - I still think they'll withdraw the 2nd car
Even after Conway's departure, FRM is still playing musical chairs...
Gilliland now in the 38, Raines to the 37
really ? wow....
Gilliland prefers Long John Silvers over Taco Bell.
The possibilities for jokes on that one are countless :), Hey guys don't forget about the modified race tonight!!
How can anyone forget about the Mod race tonight!? Look out for Quarterly in the #52...
QuarterFinger,I was at Laguna the day Dale fell off and lost his little finger.
Up too early with a dog feeling a bit puny... Rob twittering he'll be in the 7 at Bristol... 07 ?????????
tease!! :P
If Robby is in the 7, I doubt PJ will be in the 07. I can't imagine throwing PJ at Bristol to try qualify on speed with 50 entries. (Of course, who know what RGM will do these days LOL) I still think Blaney or Stremme. Looking back at Robby's previous comments this year and even last week, I think Robby will get somebody with COT experience behind the wheel. Don't think Robby wants another wadded up car.
