Thanks Mike for getting back to me. Sorry, I was not able to spend the day with you on the 'chat' Saturday. I only tuned in at the very end with Robby stopped 20 miles from the finish. Why can't there by a summary of the race posted on this site or on Robby's site? This site has a "Results" tab that hasn't been updated since Dakar 2016. Robby's page is also not current. I know in racing stuff happens, but should it be kept a secret after every race what the results are and why they are what they are?

@Bruce, it's my fault for lack of final results, RG's goal was the W. and things where looking good until RM380ish. RG had a flat, left the engine running, heat soaking the engine/fuel system. Vapor locking the engine. Lost time. Fell to 5thish, Got stuck, got going, got stuck. Finished
19 in class 29th overall. I understand not having time to follow all of chat. Back to customers, hope that helped.

It looked so good up until the flat. Running within 1 minute of the leader. Good news is he finished bad news he was the 28th loser. lol

Agreed ... Finished.

in other notes from the 500. There where reports that a farmer had opened his gates allowing cows on the course, this turned out to be false. But what was true , a farming flooded a field that was part of the course and RG found it the hard way. That's why the TT looks like she had a mud bath.

also note the first UTV was 51st 13:17:00
the first in class 7 was 73rd 14:55:50 and the Rip Snort'n twin turbo Ridgeline was 121st (3rd in class 7 ) 18:06:59

There is a good video where RG gets help from the people on the highway by rm 380+-, people rushing for water and ice to cool down the fuel pump-lines, let me find it.

Don't know if this will work but here is the RG recap https://www.facebook.com/PlanetRobby/videos/10154683754052444/

I don't see it on here yet. Great that it was made. Thanks Planet.

Thanks Kevin, I added to video's

Thanks for the vid. Great stuff. Except the finish.
