Stage 8 Motorbikes, Good day for Mason, not as good for Skyler, But look at the Overall

KLEIN STILL AHEAD AT KM 147
23:14
Now that the first bikers in the special have gone through km 203, we have a clearer picture of the state of play at the previous checkpoint (km 147), where Mason Klein remained in the lead by 22″ over Ross Branch and 1′06″ over Daniel Sanders. Van Beveren was fourth, 3′12″ down on the American. The trio at the front of the race are still losing ground to their pursuers. Luciano Benavides, who started early this morning, was 12′14″ behind Klein. Even the 3′35″ in time bonuses he has picked up so far put the Argentinian nowhere near the top. It is the same story for Howes and Price, who have been opening the road with him since km 100 or so.
