I read the rule. It has no specific verbiage about that limit applying based on which class you're racing in. There's a similar regulation for trucks but you're not going to find a workshop on wheels competing in the car class.
I would have interpreted that as only applying to the SxS class.Has 346 Potts made it in yet?
They have always been afraid of Robby every sence he showed up with the hummer. don’t forget factory millions are spent for a trophy. Under dog stoies aren’t good for the factory effort.still laying ground work for textron and the future.lets be the best sxs in the Dakar and work on the rules for next year long way to go yet
Ps what is the age limit for sxs class... max
All DAKAR competitors -18yo min.
Oh boy, here I come back to the DAKAR only to read of more potential drama this year. Please tell me they arent playing David vs Goliath again.
so what class is he actually competing with? SxS? its not cars thats for sure with a speed limit?
I think RG's frustration today came from thinking there would be more dunes and it ended up being some dunes, some roads and a flat out run on the beach which obviously hurt him and the team!
But it has to be a little bit of a love/hate for the ASO. They want to see Stephan win or a factory or Loeb but they have to like the fan interest they get from RG!
