What is he driving? A new design - called the HST
Who is the navigator? Kellon Walch
Is there going to be a 2nd car? No
How come we haven't seen pictures of the car yet? It's still being built
When will we see the car? Mid December
Will the race be televised? Yes. NBC Sports Network TAPE DELAY recap show.
How can we follow the rally? You're already at the right place.
When does the rally begin? Stage 1 begins on Jan 5th.

With a 4, 6, or 8 we had between 4 - 5.5 MPG. But, who am I ?

thought i remember RG saying on long specials they could get up to 20 MPG to make the distance on fuel, but they may have been before the extra side tanks

My bad. Just found the answer on Dakar.com...

The administrative checks for all the competitors will take place above a renowned casino. Nearby the race and assistance vehicles will be gone over with a fine-tooth comb as part of the technical checks. The South-American competitors will be the first to turn up on the morning of 2nd January.

Yes. I'm glad RG said this.

The HST was going to debut in Dakar 2015, but as RG stated, he was put in a situation where he had to move forward with 2014. I can't even begin to stress the amount of work the team did in a short amount of time to make it to Dakar this year with a new vehicle.

All I can say is, enjoy the ride!
