I was thinking for the shear speeds at Dega , but yeah Dover would be a good 1 for the G-forces . Basically any track where we could scare the hell outta him lol .

Dega in a pack might make him shit himself!

And they need to have an in car cam on him so we can all see his reaction lol

Cup cam........hey do I need to ask "get it'?' ...No...I can go..okay

Well Robby I am sure that wasn't the finish you were looking for but hey, 6th is pretty damn good I'd say....1st would have been better, you can't be 1st all the time though you have to strive for that. Anyway, congrats, job well done!

Penalties, 13:10 for Robby moved him to 7th overall , but Mark Post in a 21 year old Robby TT took 9Th overall,,,,put that in your pipe and burn it.

Right on "PONCH"

Are many of you followng this message string on RDC? http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/showthread.php/115480-Who-in-the-w...

I have been curious about the "mystery TT's", #72 & #73 since Friday. By Sunday I had a feeling this was all a fun way to test RG's new Dakar trucks in the heat of battle. Too many shots of Hanger 1 for me? Have I smoked too much giggle weed?

RG has posted a couple of times to this string already and if you take his posts at face value these are for sure not his trucks.

One of the reasons I like Robby is he knows how to have fun. The mystery driver that never takes his helmet off? The all in black Stig? The driver of the second Dakar truck? This is all great stuff.

RG
There is a reason why these trucks look good and are engineered well :-) James has been my electrical technician for many years and has been all over my truck with a Cameras and tape measures for the wiring harnesses ect, also has attended many Dakar Rally's on our team and Johnny Miller was the crew Cheif on my TT, Bharrat and Johnny Miller have worked on the TT77 for years I'm confident that they have confidentiality agreements with my company and this is a conflict if interest to say the least, time will tell.

Pretty sure pick up points and many carbon panels will fit from the 77 TT to these two trucks.

Eric Stewart
" After weeks of discusions we came to the conclusion that the Mid Engine platform, that we have designed, would suit there needs perfectly. They wanted a unique truck that is not the same ole Geiser, Jimco, etc, front engine platform. Nothing against these builders as they build great trucks. We used our plate floor wishbone design that incorporates our suspension geometry points. It uses our front j-arm bulk head set up with a turbo 400 v-drive drivetrain. The Chassis is of ES MotorSports design, and the finish work was done in house by GSM."

RG
Like I said before they are not Eric's design and intellectual property....they are a copy of the 77 truck just not as fast

My first thought was RG's dakar trucks, but seeing the names and RG's comments I am not sure now. I will not be surprised if these trucks end up in Dakar, though. Who will be driving them, not sure.

@Ed, nope, these TT's have nothing to do with RGM's DAKAR program or RGM.(other than the barrow'd concept) I really don't see these rigs going DAKAR.

Rumor is they were built to spite RG. No official word on who built them. I wouldn't be surprised if they received a call from RG's attorney.

^^^Speculation^^^
